My friend, the brilliant Alin Tolea, PhD, d/b/a “Analogue Studio” aka @analoguestudiodc, makes instant film backs for vintage medium-format roll film cameras, including Mamiya and Hasselblad. They are the best we’ve seen!
The studio focuses on freezing time using media you can touch, feel, and pass on; each creation unique and decidedly not perfect.
Alin uses both classic film and modern and vintage instant media, exposed to light in cameras built either by himself or others.
The studio also serves a source for instant photography hardware, facilitating the analogue journey for fellow light magicians and memory makers.
